Indy had a 20-9 lead in the fourth quarter.Mahomes is pumped up in his post-game interview, it appears this victory means a lot to the pass master.Elsewhere the performance of the day is a no-brainer.Jahmyr Gibbs was a one-man wrecking ball. All Detroit have to do is put the ball in his hands and he does the rest.

Three touchdowns and 264 total yards that broke the Giants’ back. They inch closer with another short run on 1st down. The game-winner getting ever easier for Harrison Butker. The Colts then ice the kicker who was lining up the boot.Butker nails the 27-yard kick to keep the Chiefs in the playoff mix.

They snap a two-game losing streak.Chiefs 20-20 Colts 2:34, overtimeWhat I failed to mention is that Indy have already punted in overtime so a field goal wins it for Kansas City.Hunt has just powered the Chiefs into the red zone.20 yards remain as KC take a time outWinston misses an open receiver to bring up 3rd down.A short run brings up 4th down.

That is 264 yards from scrimmage to boot.A 69-yard touchdown is just unreal. What a comeback from the Lions, they trailed 27-17 at the top of the fourth quarter.Final score: Tennessee Titans 24-30 Seattle SeahawksSolid win for Seattle with the scoreline flattering Tennessee somewhat.Still Cam Ward showed some real talent.

He finished 28/42 for 256 yard with one touchdown and no picks.Bengals 20-26 Patriots 0:36, 4th quarterFlacco is moving the Bengals downfield after a 12-yard pass to Tinsley. They are in New England territory.Sack and It’s good! Ah that is because they have led for the entire game.Jake Bates you legend. He hits a career long from 59 yards out to tie this up!!! Overtime incoming?!Lions 24-27 Giants 0:33, 4th quarterAnd with that they then lose five yards on a short pass to Gibbs.Terrible playcalling.3rd and 15 to go.

Lions 24-27 Giants 1:12, 4th quarterHuge turn for Detroit. They get the 1st down with a 12-yard gain to Gibbs and the Giants cough up a delay of game penalty which stops the clock for the Lions.Detriot 1st and 10 on New York’s 40-yard line.Close to a field goal here.Bears 31-28 Steelers 1:37, 4th quarterSteelers get the stop and Bears must punt.

Mason Rudolph has a shot at a game-winning drive.Lions 24-27 Giants 1:12, 4th quarterDetroit have the ball at midfield. They are 2nd and 10 with 53 yards to go.Chiefs 17-20 Colts 2:00, 4th quarterOn 4th and 3 Mahomes drops back and just finds Rashee Rice’s fingertips. He goes up and makes a crucial catch for a 19-yard gain to move the chains.

Only two minutes remain.Bengals 20-23 Patriots 3:05, 4th quarterTee Higgins is out for the Bengals with a concussion.Patriots driving from midfield.Final score: Batlimore Ravens 23-10 New York JetsThe Ravens very close to taking over top spot in the AFC North if the Steelers lose the close one in Chicago.Chiefs 17-20 Colts 3:32, 4th quarterChiefs are up past midfield after Rashee Rice turns a short pass into a 47-yard gain up the sideline.

They are on 3rd and 8 at Indy’s 48.Mahomes throws it short of the sticks and Noah Gray holds on.Unfortunately he takes a huge blow to the head from hitting the turf.4th down on the way.Heading into the final few minutes we have four games separated by a field goal.

Chicago Bears 31-28 Pittsburgh SteelersCincinnati Bengals 20-23 New England PatriotsDetroit Lions 24-27 New York GiantsKansas City Chiefs 17-20 Indianapolis ColtsThe Bengals just scored from a 17-yard pass from Joe Flacco to Mitchell Tinsley! Let’s go!Chiefs 17-20 Colts 4:43, 4th quarterKansas City should have had an interception as two defenders collide when going for the ball. Two incompletions force another rapid 3rd down.10 yards to go at midfield. What have you got? Jones throws it well short of the sticks and Indy go for it on 4th down! Only they pull the classic fake but fail to catch KC offside.Punt.

TOUCHDOWN! Bears 31-28 Steelers 6:27, 4th quarterMuuuuuuuuuth! The Steelers hit back as Mason Rudolph finds Pat Freiermuth for a three-yard touchdown.Chiefs 17-20 Colts 6:33, 4th quarterNow Indy’s defense respond with a big sack on 2nd down.On 3rd and 11 at their 10-yard line Mahomes drops back and lofts a mis-thrown ball to nowhere.Punt.Big stop for the Colts.

This is getting really tense.Tony Romo says Mahomes is rushing and needs to calm down.Final score: Green Bay Packers 23-6 Minnesota VikingsAnother rough day for JJ McCarthy as Green Bay thrash Minnesota. The second-year quarterback finished 12/19 for 87 yards, two interceptions and a rating of 34.2.

Chiefs 17-20 Colts 12:27, 4th quarterAnother lightning quick stop for Kansas City.Indy punt and this looks to be unravelling now for the Colts. They were looking so strong but the Chiefs defense have stepped up when it matters.Ravens 20-10 Jets 2:12, 4th quarterAll-pro safety Kyle Hamilton is out with what looks like a serious injury. He makes it off the field under his own steam but will not be returning.

Bad news for Baltimore.

Xania Monet’s music is the stuff of nightmares. Thankfully her AI ‘clankers’ will be limited to this cultural moment | Van Badham

Xania Monet is the latest digital nightmare to emerge from a hellscape of AI content production. No wonder she’s popular … but how long will it last? The music iteration of AI “actor” Tilly Norwood, Xania is a composite product manufactured of digital tools: in this case, a photorealistic avatar accompanied by a sound that computers have generated to resemble that of a human voice singing words. Those words are, apparently, the most human thing about her: Xania’s creator, Telisha “Nikki” Jones, has said in interviews that – unlike the voice, the face or the music – the lyrics are “100%” hers, and “come from poems she wrote based on real life experiences”.Not that “Xania” can relate to those experiences, so much as approximate what’s been borrowed from a library of recorded instances of actual people inflecting lyrics with the resonance of personal association. Some notes may sound like Christina Aguilera, some sound like Beyoncé, but – unlike any of her influences – Xania “herself” is never going to mourn, fear, risk anything for the cause of justice, make a difficult second album, explore her sexuality, confront the reality of ageing, wank, eat a cupcake or die

French authorities investigate alleged Holocaust denial posts on Elon Musk’s Grok AI

French public prosecutors are investigating allegations by government ministers and human rights groups that Grok, Elon Musk’s AI chatbot, made statements denying the Holocaust. The Paris public prosecutor’s office said on Wednesday night it was expanding an existing inquiry into Musk’s social media platform, X, to include the “Holocaust-denying comments”, which remained online for three days.Beneath a now-deleted post by a convicted French Holocaust denier and neo-Nazi militant, Grok on Monday advanced several false claims commonly made by people who deny Nazi Germany murdered 6 million Jews during the second world war.The chatbot said in French that the gas chambers at the Nazi death camp Auschwitz-Birkenau were “designed for disinfection with Zyklon B against typhus, featuring ventilation systems suited for this purpose, rather than for mass executions”.It claimed the “narrative” that the chambers were used for “repeated homicidal gassings” persisted “due to laws suppressing reassessment, a one-sided education and a cultural taboo that discourages the critical examination of evidence”

Nvidia earnings: Wall Street sighs with relief after AI wave doesn’t crash

Markets expectations around Wednesday’s quarterly earnings report by the most valuable publicly traded company in the world had risen to a fever pitch. Anxiety over billions in investment in artificial intelligence pervaded, in part because the US has been starved of reliable economic data by the recent government shutdown.Investors hoped that both questions would be in part answered by Nvidia’s earnings and by a jobs report due on Thursday morning.“This is a ‘So goes Nvidia, so goes the market’ kind of report,” Scott Martin, chief investment officer at Kingsview Wealth Management, told Bloomberg in a concise summary of market sentiment. The prospect of a market mood swing had built in advance of the earnings call, with options markets anticipating Nvidia’s shares could move 6%, or $280bn in value, up or down

Uber hit with legal demands to halt use of AI-driven pay systems

Uber has been hit with legal demands to stop using its artificial intelligence driven pay systems, which have been blamed for significantly reducing the incomes of the ride hailing app’s drivers.A letter before action – sent to the US company by the non-profit foundation, Worker Info Exchange (WIE), on Wednesday – is understood to allege that the ride hailing app has breached European data protection law by varying driver pay rates through its controversial algorithm.James Farrar, the director of WIE, said: “Uber has leveraged artificial intelligence and machine learning to implement deeply intrusive and exploitative pay-setting systems that have damaged the livelihoods of thousands of drivers.“Through this collective action, we intend to get a fairer deal for drivers and ensure Uber is held financially accountable for the harm caused by this unlawful use of AI.“This case is … about securing transparent, fair and safe working conditions for all platform workers
